I encountered a lot of problems this month to the point it is normal to have a problem right now. Japanese groupwork was hectic, other classes demanded a lot of essays to be submitted, and one class had poster presentations. I kinda screwed up my Japanese midterms… I can’t even think of other classes’ exams.
There aren’t any achievements for this month. I’ve been making rough translations/summaries for a web manga series that I’m following currently. The active translator was somewhat busy so it didn’t get updated for quite a long time. So I thought I’d just read the raws and share what I understand with the others on Tumblr. There wasn’t anyone who responded at first, but now a lot of people are asking me to update! It takes a bit of effort to translate but it’s worth it and I feel happy when someone said they’re grateful for my summaries!
Anyways, I went to see Deadpool 2 several days ago and damn I’m so happy I decided to watch it. The movie was hilarious and the soundtracks are just beautiful. I especially loved Ashes and the acoustic version of Take On Me. 10/10 would rewatch if I had the time (and money).
Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii
For anime, I was planning to watch Boku no Hero Academia S3 and Steins;Gate 0 but I told myself to just wait till the series end so I can marathon them on one go. So for now, the only series I’m watching is Wotakoi. It reminds me a lot of Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun because it has the comedy and romance element. It’s quite entertaining so far and I’m planning to read the manga once the anime ends. Oh, and the opening for this is quite addicting as well!
I’m always sorry for my absence and for neglecting my blog like this. I haven’t been able to get into the mood of blogging again these days. Maybe because nothing eventful happens these days? Haha. The polaroid picture above was taken by me during the sakura season. (I finally got the chance to use my camera!) The riverbank that my friend discovered was beautiful and the ground was covered with sakura petals. We did hanami there and it was really great! Anyways, let’s get straight to the post.
Achievements
I applied for another scholarship this year and I got nominated for Oita Prefecture’s scholarship! The amount of money I get is lower than JASSO’s but I’m still grateful that I’ve earned another opportunity to receive a scholarship. Receiving this scholarship means that you have to participate in all of the programs that the Oita government conducts (it’s kind of a pain, yes). People say it’ll be very time consuming but who knows I can gain experiences? Haha.
Favorites
Violet Evergarden would be my favorite anime that just ended this early April. It’s a beautiful work of art done by Kyo Ani. I’m pretty sure almost everyone knows about this series since it’s really popular. I love all the songs starting from the opening, ending, and the OSTs in the anime. Recommended for people who love melodrama.
This spring, I’m following My Hero Academia and Steins;Gate 0. I’m especially hyped for Steins;Gate since I really loved the first series, so I’m really excited when they announced the second season of it!
Now onto the things I bought and loved …
Logicool G213 Prodigy RGB Gaming Keyboard (Logicool is Logitech in Japan.)
A freaking gaming keyboard. I never thought I’d needed one until I got one. Recently my gaming friends invited me to play another online game together and of course, I said yes. However, spending hours playing that game made my hand sore to the point it started to hurt to flick my wrist. I don’t know if Amazon had stalking abilities but a recommendation for gaming keyboard appeared when I was browsing. The features were cool and it was on a half-price discount. I jumped on the offer and now my wrist is happy! 🙂 It’s also super comfortable when I have to type my essays for a long period of time.
The next thing would be another tote bag (yes, I have too many bags, I know) from Baggu.
Denim Duck Bag from BagguAnother shot of the bag
I first discovered the brand while I was browsing through the Google stories cards (all the online advertisements, I swear). I fell in love with the simplistic design and color in an instant and I was delighted when I figured out they also sell it in Japan. To be honest, for a tote bag, the price ain’t cheap, however, I haven’t regretted purchasing that bag until now since it’s so versatile and comfortable to use. The straps don’t leave a sharp stinging pain on my shoulders either, so that’s a plus.
Wishlist
Time for the random things I saw online but couldn’t get my hands on because of money problems …
Small Drawer Pouch: Peacocks of Grantham Hall
Hobonichi released a series of new accessories for Spring 2018, the Drawer Pouches. They’re designed to fit the things you have in your drawer from stationaries, makeup, etc. They have two sizes, small and large, and each size has 8 designs (4 of them has gone out of stock and won’t be restocked anymore.)
Interior of the peacock pouch
Peacocks of Grantham Hall is the first design that caught my eye since I saw the design being used for last year’s week’s cover. It’s super elegant and the tassel is just so extra. The interior colors are really nice as well.
Black Large Drawer Pouch
This is the larger version of the pouch and it can fit A5 papers. It has a lot of slots for credit cards, a mesh slot and a huge zipper in the middle to divide your things. The price of this black one is 1000 yen more compared to the small peacock pouch. Why do beautiful things have to be so expensive …
The last item is from Muji! (I have too many things that I want.)
Phone inside the caseThe case itself
This is probably the most random thing I’ve found while browsing through Muji’s website: a splashproof phone case. It allows you to use your phone while you’re cooking or bathing without having to risk your phone’s safety. It’s not that expensive either so I thought I’d get this the next time I visit Muji.
That’s it for the post! Sorry if it’s long and image heavy and basically filled with random things but I hope it somewhat entertains you. Haha. I will post more when I get the chance to, so until then!
This post is going to be about the trips that I made with my friend in Nagasaki and Saga during the beginning of February. I booked my hotel using Booking.com. We stayed at a small hostel named The Life Hostel which is really near to the Hakata station. The featured image of this post is the lobby area of the hotel which I find quite aesthetic and calming (when there are no people lol). I, unfortunately, didn’t take any pictures of my room as it was a shared room with 5 other people. I did take a picture of the kitchen area, which I find really nice as it provides all the cooking utensils for your personal use.
Shared kitchen area
We stayed there for the duration of our trip and I must say it was a really pleasant experience (minus the noisy neighbors)!
Nagasaki China Town
We went to Nagasaki on our first day. This is my second time visiting the historical city after my previous visit in summer last year. And since it was almost Chinese New Year, we dropped by the china town to see all the decorations that had been set up.
One of the entrances to the alleys
You can find a lot of Chinese inspired snacks and restaurants in the alley. It’s really recommended that you visit this spot near the CNY since they will put the decorations out for display only during those times.
View from the top of Glover Garden
This is also my second time visiting the Glover Garden since my friend really wanted to enter, so I had no choice but to follow her inside haha. The entrance fee was quite expensive around 6o0ish yen for adults, which in my opinion, is a bit overkill. But I guess the view you get from the top of the house is worth looking at.
Random photo on the way down to the exit
We also visited the Atomic Bomb Museum as well as the Peace Park which are the iconic tourist sites for Nagasaki. I didn’t take any pictures of it since I did during the previous visit. I did post it on my Instagram so you can check it if you’re interested.
Yutoku-Inari Shrine in Kashima, Saga
We visited Saga on our second day. Saga prefecture wasn’t really well known within the Japanese community and thus was not a lot of people visit this place for tourism. We visited Kashima, a city in the prefecture which is famous for their Yutoku-Inari Shrine. I alone have never heard of this shrine but I must say that it’s a really majestic and beautiful shrine.
The garden in front of the gate
You can access the shrine by first taking the JR train that stops at the Hizen-Kashima station. From there you can purchase a roundtrip ticket for the bus that is bound for the shrine. Beware that the bus only comes once an hour so you may have to do some planning if you hate waiting that long. After you get off at the bus stop, you must walk around another 5-8 minutes to reach the shrine.
The panoramic shot I took from the top of the shrine
Kashima city is even more rural than Beppu (the place I’m living in Japan). There are literally no skyscrapers and you can see the whole city from the top of the shrine. As I do not possess a super expensive camera to take the view, I tried to take a panorama from my iPhone.
My omikuji for 2018
I always try to go to a shrine every year to take one of this omikujis (a.k.a Japanese fortune-telling paper). These papers will tell your luck for the whole year which you can read more about here. I got a ‘future blessing’ for this year. Unfortunately, due to the lack of Japanese understanding, I thought that it was a bad luck lol. I did understand the rest of the contents written in the paper, but I did not know that those two characters in the middle meant a good thing.
Me stupidly hanging my ‘future blessing’ omikuji
Normally only people with ‘bad luck’ written on their paper would tie the fortune on these ropes. But as I misunderstood the words, my friend told me to tie my paper. Lol. Good thing I’m not a type of person who believes in these kinds of superstitions that much otherwise I’d be rolling over my bed knowing that I had sent my good blessings away by mistake.
Next time I’d be super careful and Google everything up before making mistakes again. Haha.
While my trip to Nagasaki and Saga wasn’t smooth (rain ruined it all), I was glad that I made the decision to step out and explore more about the places around me. I hope my post somewhat entertains you and motivates you to explore Japan too!
First of all, let me say sorry for maintaining my blog half-assedly (is that even a word).
Lately, I just haven’t been able to get into the mood to continue blogging and keeping up with others. I know that I post sporadically and just a few human beings visit, read, and comment on my posts so I’m really grateful for you guys who have constantly visited, even if you are a silent reader!
Events
A lot did happen this year. I moved out from my dorms and tried so hard to settle down in a new apartment alone. I finally got the feeling of comfort and ‘home’ after some time and I’m really happy with the place I picked! The monthly rent is quite costly but it’s worth the convenience and comfort that I get, so that’s fine, really.
I also got to travel Kyushu with my mom and aunt. We went to Fukuoka and Nagasaki, also around Beppu for our summer holiday. Even though bad things happened during that time, I still am happy that I got to spend time together with my mom. She rarely gets to travel abroad.
I guess both of those events (moving out and travel) are made possible with the help of my Japanese-Indonesian friend, Yoshiya. 😀 (He does not know about this blog, but hey, expressing gratitude does not hurt.)
Achievements
I didn’t have a lot of achievements or exciting moments but receiving another year worth of scholarship from the government really saved me a lot. I paid for my new furniture (I didn’t get second-handed goods for several reasons) all with the scholarship money that I’ve saved for months and it was really worth it.
In Entrepreneurship class, my team got nominated as one of the 5 teams that got to present our business ideas and plans in front of the class. I was really blessed because I was teamed up with really competent teammates, and group work has never felt this fun and exciting before I met them.
The application prototype that I designed (again, half-assedly).
Working with them was a really fun ride.
Music
Naruto OSTs – Because I finally finished that series lol. It was a rollercoaster of nostalgia.
Lofi hip-hops – I accidentally discovered a whole playlist of them and instantly fell in love with it. Soothes your soul.
I’ve never really liked any musicians/singers, but this year I really took a liking to Heize and Dean, both Koreans with amazing voice and music! And July was definitely my favorite.
Things to work on
Money – I definitely failed in saving my allowances because I really spent a lot this year. Not only on furniture, but also on hobbies, fashion, and skincare. I need to stop before really falling into the hellhole of no return. I swear online retail shops are really dangerous.
Sleep – Need to stop myself from going to bed at 2 AM during schooldays. Really.
Procrastination – Hey, don’t judge me.
Planner obsession – Yes, I don’t know why but planners keep increasing in quantity even though I told myself to stop buying so much. I need to dedicate on one/two planners only for the sake of my poor wallet.
Part-time jobs – I need to find at least one stable job to have extra income and savings. This is gonna be tiring but it has to be done. (For the sake of splurging on stationaries!)
I hope you had a great year and I wish you a happy new year for 2018! ♥
Hey there! Sorry for the long vacancy on updates. I’ve been spending the rest of my holiday watching anime and doing unproductive things. Lol. University is going to resume classes on October 4th and I’m still not ready to leave for Japan again.
I’ve also been putting up some strategies for the next course registration (which is tomorrow). It was very confusing to choose 9 classes from the long list provided. And since I will be a second year student starting from next semester, I will have to take major classes to start completing my credit requirements. I’m so not excited.
Anyways, I finished watching Sakurada Reset anime. It was really interesting with all the timeline resets and all. It reminded me a lot of Steins Gate but with less complexity and more romance, I guess? I’d highly recommend this anime for mystery and supernatural genre lovers. I also (finally) finished Naruto and caught up with Boruto. Personally, I’m not a big fan of Naruto, but since it’s one of my old childhood anime I thought I should at least finish it and see the ending for myself. Haha. Listening to the old opening, ending and OSTs really made me feel nostalgic. I even downloaded the whole OP/ED songs afterwards.
I know I promised I would post about my holidays but I haven’t got the motivation to do so. (Hello procrastination, my old friend.) I will probably post one some day after the course registration ends tomorrow. Wish me tons of luck. ❤️
I was so busy with moving out and taking care of my mom and aunt who came to visit me so I didn’t really have enough time to update the blog. I was just too exhausted to do so, mentally and physically.
Anyways, I think my finals went pretty well in the end. I just need to wait for the results to be announced later in September. I probably won’t be able to post anything until past mid-August because I’m going on a trip to Fukuoka and then back to my country until then. I’ll try my best to upload photos and write an entertaining blog post when I do have the time lol.
See you!
P.S: Hanako, your blog images seemed broken to me, I can’t see the images in your posts 😦 I mentioned this in a comment previously but I don’t know if you’ve received that comment or not. I’ll catch up with the rest of your blog posts soon! ♥
I apologize with (almost) a month of absence here. I’ve been busy taking care of my moving out and in procedures as well as purchasing and scheduling my new furniture for my apartment. It was hectic and stressful but exciting nonetheless.
I spent A LOT. And when I say a lot, it’s really … a lot. I’ve never spent this much money (well, basically my scholarship) for furniture and such. I felt like I need to purchase a lot of things for my small apartment. I originally planned a room layout, but after giving it some thought, I decreased most of the items I had planned to purchase and just went with a simpler and more minimal furniture for the entire room.
Image from Nitori website.
I got this simple mattress from a Nitori (a general furniture store). Paying around 18000 yen for that set (does not include the boxes below) is not that cheap but I still think it’s a pretty nice deal rather than getting a separate mattress and frame. Of course, there’s another option of getting second handed goods from upperclassmen who are graduating this year, but the idea of using a used mattress is just a no for me. Sorry for being a clean freak!
A little rant (or complain) here: People do ask me how much I have to pay for my new apartment and whether if I got my furniture second-handed or new. However, every time I answer them, they always have this similar reaction such as “Oh my, that’s so expensive! or “Woah, completely new furniture!” It’s like these people are so against the idea of spending extra money for something nice and beneficial for yourself. Firstly, my rent is not cheap because I live alone, not sharing. Secondly, if I can get things new, why not? I know people will think that I’m wasting a lot of money when I can get the same furniture, second-handed, for a way lower price. But when I think about it, you’ll be selling all of these things to someone else and get half your money back anyway, so why bother? Also, cleaning a used furniture is not fun. I feel like money is just something for you to use when you really need something. I don’t buy all those new furnitures because I want to feel luxurious, it’s because I need them. My needs and other’s needs are different so I don’t think there’s a need to make a wuss when someone purchases something that’s beneficial for themselves.
Well, I did write ‘little’, but it ended up quite long for a rant.
Anyway, I’ll start receiving my furniture on 29th this month and will completely move out on 31st. It’s gonna be super busy from now on, especially with my mom and aunt coming over on the 1st of August! For now, I still need to focus on my finals. I have internet, math and accounting finals left. Wish me luck!
June has been so hectic to the point I forgot to update my blog posts. All the previous posts before this were scheduled from last month so I was able to somehow keep my blog running automatically. I haven’t written and posted directly for awhile now since homework and weekly exams were killing me.
Japan has entered the rainy season since this week. It rained so hard and the winds were really fierce that I kept getting ‘blown away’ here and there. It was a chore going to class every day in this kind of weather. But what can I do?
Moving out
It has been decided that I will move out on 29th of July, which is next month. I’m moving to a small studio apartment since I’m gonna live alone. I’ve probably mentioned this in my previous posts, but the location is quite strategic and the rent isn’t really that bad for living alone. People keep telling me that my rent is so expensive but the price that I pay is actually quite reasonable since it’s never cheap to live alone, duh.
I will probably spend a lot of money next month to buy new furniture and such. I hope the expense won’t be too excessive.
Hobby
I started to pick up watercolor again this month after I saw a good deal for watercolor sets on Amazon. Even though I suck at art, I just can’t stop drawing and painting. They’re kind of my third stress reliever after online games and dramas/anime. Haha. I also bought several watercolor artbooks for references, and they have really helpful illustrations and techniques inside!
Reads
I’m still reading ボクラノキセキ (Bokura no Kiseki), so I bought the 16th volume when I saw it in the local bookstores. I was really hyped because this volume has a lot of thrilling scenes. I really wanted to purchase the one with the CD drama version but I realized I can’t benefit much from it since I don’t have a built-in CD player inside my laptop. I also started reading 思い、思われ、ふり、ふられ (Omoi, omoware, furi, furare) which is written by the same writer of Strobe Edge and Ao Haru Ride. I’m loving the conflicts and misunderstandings (as always), and I can’t wait for another volume update!
Watch
I’ve been following Little Witch Academia for the anime series this time. I don’t know why I keep watching this children’s show. Maybe it just has that nostalgic art style and plot. Haha. It has good overshadowing, though. I’m also happy with the ending that they gave. I think it’s a good anime for a change of pace.
I also just finished watching Another Miss Oh (Korean drama) last week. It was a long ride and finishing the episodes felt like a chore because I had so many homework and tests to overcome. Haha. But finally, I managed to finish the whole series, and I must say it’s worth it to watch. The story line was really realistic and the romance is literally everywhere. Thumbs up to TVN for always airing good dramas. Haha.
I’m thinking of starting to watch Healer. I heard it’s a really famous drama as well.
Music
I don’t really follow artists, but I always appreciate those long looping relaxing music in Youtube. I’m currently addicted to Joey Pecoraro‘s music. They’re so relaxing and gives off happy vibes!
Coming up
I’ll have a ton of final exams in June and projects to finish such as presentations and report papers. I also have a lot to do before moving out from the school dorms. It’s gonna be a super busy month. But after that, I’ll have the whole two months of holidays! Can’t wait to go back home again!
The Japanese class I took this semester offered the students a mini tour around Beppu Station once every month. It was a voluntary activity and the ones who participate and wrote a report on it will receive a bonus point for their Japanese language grades. At first, I was reluctant to join because we had to pay 500 yen (call me stingy) for the participation fee and get up early in the morning (yes, I’m lazy, I know). However, some of my friends who have participated it said it was worth it and that I should try joining as well.
So I did.
And I have to say it was really worth it as well. So this time I’m going to review some of the places that we went to. Not every thing that was mentioned in the tour will be mentioned here. So if you’re interested, give the tour a try when you come to Beppu!
Introducing Beppu
Image from Flickr.
This bald man is probably one of the most iconic person in Beppu. His name is Aburaya Kumahachi, self-proclaimed as Pika-pika Ojisan or Shiny Uncle (Hint: see his head). He was the person who made Beppu famous of onsen and tourism in the old days and was still looked up as the Father of Tourism in Beppu nowadays.
Our guide, Hirano-san, told us a lot of things about Aburaya and how this statue contained a lot of details and meaning behind it. The pose he made was a ‘landing pose’ showing that he just landed from the sky. If you look closely, there are two oni children sticking to Aburaya’s mantle. They also became the famous tourist attraction icon in Beppu, the Jigoku Meguri. You can’t really see clearly from here, but the mantle had an onsen icon. His necktie (also unclear), had a crucifix, showing that he was a Christian.
On the side of the monument, there is an engraving:
“旅人をねんごろにせよ
Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers.”
This showed how big Aburaya’s love for tourism was for the city of Beppu.
International Inn Kokage
The original name for this place is 民宿こかげ (Minshuku Kokage). It’s a very old Japanese Inn with tons of priceless antique stuff inside. The owner opens this place to the public for those who want to see the collection he has gathered for the past years. Of course, you can book a room and stay there for several nights if you want to as well. Vintage lovers would fall in love with this place!
A collection of old miniatures.Old version of the Japanese money
良聞居 (Ryoubunkaku)
We were then taken to visit a very old house with tons of history in it, Ryoubunkaku. There we met the keeper, Akiyoshi-san, an old man who was once a dentist. He inherited the house from his parents (if I’m not wrong). This house is not open to the public, and Hirano-san also mentioned that we got really lucky because visitors was allowed on the day we went on the mini tour.
I wanted to take a lot of photos because, man, this house was majestic! It had a small garden behind and so many rooms with all the antique interior design. However, he scolded someone who took photos once, so I guess we’re not allowed to take any. Too bad.
The house had so many sliding doors connected to many different rooms. Each room had a history and drawing that shows us a lot about Beppu. One was used to predict the seasons and another one was a beautiful painting of a mountain in Beppu (which its name I forgot). It also might sound funny, but this is the only house in Beppu that has swinging doors (like the one in the salon). A lot of poets who wrote haikus have come to this house a long time ago and you can still see their original piece of paper they wrote on being displayed inside the house.
Anyways, there are so many things you can discover in this house and me talking about it without pictures wouldn’t sound so interesting, so I will go to the next visiting spot.
The Sitting Tree
The famous ‘sitting tree’ that appeared in lots of TV shows in Japan. Can you see it?
I was wondering where we were heading after we got out of Ryobunkaku and it turns out that our tour guide brought us to a small alley where this sitting tree was located. I never knew that this tree existed, to be honest, but I found it really amusing. You can only see the tree ‘sitting’ from a certain angle.
Other places
We also went to several other places that I didn’t mention here because I forgot to take pictures of it. One of our last destinations was 海門寺温泉 (Kaimonji Onsen). Kaimon literally means ‘the sea gate’. It was named because the land was once a border between land and the sea. A humongous pine tree named Shigure Matsu grows here. You can see a short video I took of the tree in my Instagram if you’re interested.
The last place we were taken to was Hirano-san’s office. We were shown an old video about Beppu’s tourism and also encouraged by one of the teachers from our University to explore more about the city we’re living in right now. Hirano-san also encouraged everyone to apply as a helping tour guide if they’re willing to. I was quite interested, but I still feel I won’t be able to do much with my minimum level of Japanese right now. I do wish I can help around in the future, though!
This ends the mini tour around Beppu Station. I had so much fun and gained a lot of new knowledge that I wouldn’t have known if it weren’t for this program. If you’re interested in history and such, I think that participating in this kind of events wouldn’t be so bad!
I feel guilty about posting this because it gives me the feeling that I kinda failed to save my money. But I just wanted to talk about all the fun we had while shopping and looking at all the things on sale during the Golden Week in Japan!
At first, I didn’t know that department stores had sale during Golden Week until my friend told me about it. It turned out that stores like Muji and UNIQLO had a big promotion during the week so I decided to go and waste my money see what was worth it to buy.
Muji didn’t have their prices cut off insanely, but we do get 10% discount for everything if we have the Muji application on our mobile phone. (It’s all about the apps these days). I got several stationeries and funnily, a Tom Yum soup paste.
Black gel pens, pen tube (with mechanical pencil), and two pen refills. My beloved Tom Yum paste.
I discovered the Tom Yum paste accidentally when I browsed through the back section of the store. I’ve been dying to eat Tom Yum ever since I ran out of the pastes I bought back from Indonesia. I can’t really find one here, but luckily Muji has it! The pack comes with the paste, fish sauce, and other ingredients such as leaves for spice. It still requires you to put in chopped tomatoes and milk (and something else I forgot) to make it more tastier, which is something I didn’t need to do if I use my old paste, but I guess it can’t be helped. It tasted pretty decent!
The pens I bought was for self-satisfaction and aesthetic reasons. Lol. But they’re really nice to use and I like sharp-pointed pens because they’re so easy to write with!
Uniqlo’s UV cut jacket. Image from Uniqlo.Airism jacket. Image from Uniqlo.
I also bought two jackets from Uniqlo (even though I have so many already, but they’re for winter, so…) since they were on discount. Both got a 1000 yen discount so I decided to get both of them … just because. I really love it and they have those tiny little holes at the end of the sleeves for your thumb to go through. It has super comfortable material as well!
Some kind of wind-resistant umbrella. Image from Uniqlo.
I decided to go for a pricier umbrella (900 yen) this time since my cheaper one (600 yen) is about to die because of strong winds on the mountain areas. Unfortunately, the umbrella flipped today when I used it because the wind was too darn strong and, well, screwed my umbrella. The umbrella ribs didn’t rotate just like what was stated in the picture. Boo-hoo. At least I’m grateful it get destroyed after my first use.
Gotta love the bad picture and lighting quality. This is Herschel Dawson in black.
This just came in today, but I ordered it during the weekends because it was on sale as well. I fell in love with the appearance and the discount just kinda lured me to purchase this without thinking twice. I already have three bags prior to purchasing this one, so as of now I have four backpacks. Lol.
Instead of having zippers, this bag has a drawstring and magnetic closure to keep your things in place. The magnets are really strong I had to put a little effort to pull them up haha. The insides are wide enough to fit things and it has a laptop compartment as well. Other than that, you can see it’s a pretty simple backpack.
Actually, I feel really bad having four backpacks but only using one and leaving the other three covered in dust. So I decided to sell the Herschel Pop Quiz to someone else and use this new one as my main instead. That leaves me with two other backpacks but that’s okay since I don’t really like using the 25 liters backpack my mom bought because that was meant for traveling. I have another Anello bag, but I’d like to use that for other purposes in the future so I will keep that stored for now.
You might want to praise me because despite purchasing this many, my expenses didn’t exceed my monthly leisure allowance! I got all the items for a relatively cheap price so I’m really satisfied with it!
